Quail Springs United Methodist Giving Opportunities
The Prayer Quilt Group
Our prayer quilt group meets the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month in the Garden Room. They are interested in expanding the group to include crocheted or knitted afghans, lap throws and "flower" cards, along with the quilts they have been making. If you know how to quilt, knit or crochet or want to learn, this is a perfect opportunity to help your church and make you feel great at the same time.
Our quilts are given to church members and their immediate families that have been ill and need a special encouragement to return to their healthy lifestyel. The congregation ties a knot in the threads of the quilt and signs the "prayer" sheet which is presented along with the prayer quilt to the church member.

Opportunities with Childrens' Ministries:
There are always ways to help with Childrens' Ministries. There are seasonal things to help with such as VBS, but there are also year round activities beyond Sunday School. Please visit with our Childrens Ministry Director, Lindsay, if you are interested in helping.
Opportunities with our "We Care" Ministry: Loaves of Bread: The United Methodist Women sponsor the "We Care" ministry at Quail Springs United Methodist Church. This ministry plans meals for families when a loved one dies. This ministry also provides a "we care" basket with fruit and sweet bread for those who have lost a loved one but have not requested a meal. Loaves of bread are needed at this time and may be brought to the church office. Mark the bread with a "we care" label and it will be used for this important ministry.
If you are interested in helping outside the walls of our church: Please check the opportunities listed on the Outreach page listed under MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
